Celebration Tidings Card

1 Comment August 19, 2020 Leah Dixon - Stampin Up! Demonstrator

Thanks for joining me today to see my newest card creation. This thankfulness card was created as a head start on some back to school and Thanksgiving cards I know I will need as well as for this week’s TGIF Challenge.

This set is very easy to work with and the All the Trimming embellishments are so versatile since you can colour the white dots ANY blends colour you want!

To see how I made this card you can check out my FB Live or my You Tube video.

Happy Stampin’!

Gather Together card

3 Comments August 17, 2020 Leah Dixon - Stampin Up! Demonstrator

Today’s card was created for a dual purpose – I am planning for an upcoming Gather Together card class ( watch for details about the date and time – a tutorial will be available for those outside of Canada) and I was creating for the weekly Freshly Made sketch challenge ( a little later than I usually get around to it, but I was busy at a Creative Convention online last weekend).

The only real “trick” to this card is the wood grain In Good Taste DSP. I cut a 4″X 4″ square and then cut it by lining up my top corners at the 1″ and 1-3/4″ markers on my cutting board – this achieves the diagonal. If you want to know more – keep an eye out for my upcoming class – or subscribe to my newsletter to always stay in the loop.

West Coast Creators Blog Hop – Christmas Means More Card

5 Comments August 14, 2020 Leah Dixon - Stampin Up! Demonstrator

This festive card was created for the West Coast Creators Blog Hop ~ August! I used Shimmery Embossing Paste to create a gorgeous textured background and then let the sentiment from the Christmas Means More stamp set speak for itself.

I actually created most of this card live on FB while waiting for the paste on another card to dry. You can check it out on my FB page or on You Tube.

Embossing Paste – Ombre Card

Embossing paste is a fabulous way to create a textured and gorgeous card. You can use it as is or add some ink to it like I did on this card. Check out my video on how I created this card on my FB page or on You Tube.

Now is a great time to shop with me and redeem your Bonus Days coupons. You can click the images below to go directly to my shop (if you live in Canada). Or contact me if you would like some help figuring out what products would best suit your needs.

Forever Gold Specialty DSP

3 Comments August 7, 2020 Leah Dixon - Stampin Up! Demonstrator

I created this card for the Freshly Made Sketch challenge this week. I love how the Forever Gold Specialty Designer Series Paper made this quick and simple card look so elegant and detailed.

I used the thank you from the Simply Citrus Card kit – but you could use any sentiment that fits in the 1-1/2″ X 2-1/4″ rectangle space.

Simply Citrus Alternative

1 Comment July 22, 2020 Leah Dixon - Stampin Up! Demonstrator

I created this bright card using the stamp set from the Simply Citrus All-Inclusive Kit. I LOVE using sketches to design and this sketch came from the Freshly Made Sketches page. I will be using this fun card to recognize some of my top team members this month. You can view my video on my FB page or on You Tube if you’d like more information on how I made it.

If you’d like to see more cards made using the Simply Citrus card kit join me this Friday 7pm PST on my FB page when I do a Simply Citrus card kit night.

Have you seen the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle? I’m really excited about it, and I know you will be too! The Blossoms in Bloom Bundle includes the Blossoms in Bloom Stamp Set and the Many Layered Blossoms Dies. When purchased together using the special bundle item number, you’ll receive a 10% discount! I also used the Stamparatus to help get it all to line up nicely. This set has a lot of potential as you can use the pieces whole or cut them apart to create accents.
