This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a beautiful Colour Challenge. I used the Humble Home stamp set and punch bundle, from Stampin’ Up! This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a gorgeous Inpsiration Challenge. I used the One of a Kind stamp set and the Christmas labels bundle, both from Stampin’ Up! Here is my card created using this inspiration. It was a lot of embossing – but the result is stunning. I LOVE non-traditional Christmas colours so had to create with the fabulous Bubble Bath pink.

Alpine Air Kit by Stampin’ Up!

This month Stampin’ Up! is having a kit sale – 30% off all kits!! So I am featuring the new Alpine Air Kit. In this kit you get supplies to make 9 cards ( 3 each of 3 designs). All our kits come with everything you need (paper, adhesive, stamp set, block, and ink, etc…) except a pair of scissors and a stamp cleaner. Finally, here is my 4th bonus card – I found the extra Night of Navy cardstock piece on my desk while cleaning up. So I die cut some Thoughtful Journey DSP with the Deckled Rectangles and put it all together on a Thick Basic White card base.

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a unique Sketch Challenge. I used the Nests of Winter DSP and the Winterly Treetops stamp set, both from Stampin’ Up! Take a 5-½” X 12” piece of Very Vanilla CS, score it at 4-¼”, 7-¼” & 10-¼”.
On the 4-1/4” section of the card base – add two score lines, 1-1/4” and 1-3/8” then use those as a guide to add leaf embossing to the edge.
Glue a 2-¾” X 5-¼” piece of Naturally Gilded DSP to the inside fold that faces front and glue a 1-½” X 5-¼” embossed piece of Very Vanilla CS to the front flap.
Stamp sentiment on the Very Vanilla tag using Pretty Peacock Ink – ensure the tag hole is to the right.
Run ribbon through the tag hole and across the back of the tag. Use two Dimensionals on the back of the left side of the tag to attach it to the front flap of the card. Tie the ribbon in a bow on the right side of the card. Trim ends if needed, but not too short!
Use Versamark to stamp 3 leaves on the Pretty Peacock sheet, then heat emboss using Gold embossing powder. Die cut and glue to the card front (have the leaves hang slightly off the edges of the tag and the front folds.
Embellish with Pretty Peacock Foiled Gems.
