Kylie’s Monthly International Blog Highlights-May 2020

Welcome to my blog! My name is Leah Dixon and I am an Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator located in Port Coquitlam, BC, Canada. This is my first time taking part in Kylie’s Blog Highlights.

Our theme was Thank You! This is such a wonderful theme for me this month as I have just hosted part 1 of my 2 part Sale-a-bration Celebration to thank my team and my customers for the fun and support over the last 3 months.

I used two of my favourite retiring sets to create this quick card. Tasteful Textures and Seriously the Best. You can see a full product list below.

Thanks for checking out my card, please vote for my card (#38) here so I can take part of the Blog Hop at the end of the month with all the other winners!

Happy Stampin’!!

Last Chance Products

It is that time of year again when Stampin Up! announces which items will be retiring. While we anxiously await the new product coming in June – we also need to take some time to grab some must have items and make sure to stock up on all of our reinkers and favourite DSP that will be retiring.

I have posted the full retiring list on Facebook, but if you are like me you need to see it to know what the items is. I couldn’t show you the whole list but here are some of the basics. To see the full list go to the Last Chance section of my shop:

Let’s start with the bundles. I have posted all the bundles here because although some of the stamps and dies will be in the new catalogue they will not be bundled for the 10% discount. If you want them, grab them now and save some $$.

STAMP SETS – some of these are the same as ones in the bundles above (hint, if a bundle is retiring – but the stamp set is not here that means it will be in the new catalogue :-).

You’ll notice on the actual retiring list it has items such as the stitched circles, squares and rectangles. These products have changed product numbers and as result ended up on the list. They are however still available.

Bonanza Dies
Leaf Punch
Pocket Dies

There are other products retiring so make sure to check out the full list in my shop. Lots of EMBELLISHMENTS, DSP, and anything IN-COLOUR!!

Happy Stampin’!! ( and shopping)

Wildly Happy Online Class

This snuggly card was created for an upcoming on-line class. I have a few friends who are expecting this spring and summer so thought I should get creating. This sweet set makes a lovely thank you card as well with a sentiment stolen from another set.

If you would like more info about the upcoming on-line class check my page of Class Kits to Go.

Best Catch card

I had to say goodbye to my class salmonids on Thursday, without my class. Then Friday I got to say “hello and I miss you” to all of my students. This has been an emotional week, and I need to let off some of the emotion through stamping. So this card is a sample of the card I will be sending to each of my students.

I hope those of you who are transitioning to remote teaching or learning are finding ways to grieve and accept the change. Be gentle with yourselves and others. This is a strange time for all.

Happy Stampin’!

Best Dressed DSP card

I LOVE quick and easy cards. Since this card has minimal stamping ( just the embossed sentiment) it is easy for me to create multiples in no time. This is perfect for me right now since most of my crafting time happens in the morning before my kids wake up.

I’ll be sending this card out with a bottle of home made perfume for a birthday next month.

If you pop over to my You Tube channel you can see a video of how I created this. The adorable mini cutter that I used in the video is free with our Starter Kit, along with this DSP that I used in this card ( and a large sampling of other DSP from our mini catalogue), a stamp set of your choice and $165 in other product of your choice. All for just $135cdn ( no shipping or taxes). It is such an incredible deal – this offer lasts until March 31, so contact me today to get yours.

Here is a list of all the materials I used to create this card. Click the image to purchase yours today.

You can watch my video on how I created this card on my You Tube channel or on my FB Page.

If you want to get your own Paper Pumpkin subscription you can contact me directly, click the image below or go to my paper pumpkin page.
