Happy Canada Day!
I am in love with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set. I just created this card with a large group of people and it was quick to make except for tying the linen thread. So starting today I am going to dedicate Fridays to sharing tips and tricks to help you on your stamping adventures.
QUICK TIP: when using thread use two pieces of linen thread, tie them around the stamped image with a knot and then tie the bow. If your thread seems too loose on the cardstock just use some tape on the back to pull the thread taut. Then adhere your piece of cardstock to your card so noone sees the tape.😊
Hope this comes in handy! Check back next Friday for more tips or head over to my facebook page to watch some stamping videos.
This background was created using markers and an aqua painter. Check out my facebook page to see a video on how to do this simple technique.

I created this fresh card using the Seaside embossing folder, Detailed Dragonflies thinlits and a lovely watercolour circle. So simple to brush some colour onto a piece of shimmery paper, let dry and the diecut the circle.
Keep your eye on my fb page tomorrow for a demo of how to use the aquapainter to watercolour.
Stampin Up! takes some of the mess out of watercolouring with their anazing Aquapainters. Just dip the brush into ink or use them directly on watercolour pencil crayons to create stunning colour on your projects.

Used some bits and stamps from this month’s Paper Pumpkin to create a quick teacher thank you card. The fold on the right is actually taped down to create a gift card pocket.
