My card was created using the Pretty Prints 12×12 DSP and the Hello Harvest stamp set.

I used the large floral image from the stamp set to ink the gold embossed background as well as with Blackberry Bliss Ink to decorate the envelope and the inside of the card. See below for a printable tutorial and a full supplies list.

The rain showed up today – so I took advantage of the weather and stayed inside to craft. Yay! Todays’ card was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketch (#FMS551). Since I will be featuring the very FUN Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set all week (an din an upcoming card class – details below) I thought I’d play with it today.

I used the brightest paper I had on hand – the holiday sheets from Celebrate Everything 12X12 DSP.

Here is the card I created using the Joyful Flurry Bundle ( and some FREE Sale-a-bration items).

There are lots of beautiful details in this card. The gold accents in the Lights Aglow DSP, the FREE SAB Brushed Metallic cardstock, I embossed the background with the snowflake folder from the Wintry 3D EF combo pack and of course the gold Elegant Trim and Elegant Faceted Gems. Stampin’ Up! has released a NEW mini catalogue ( the July – December 2022 Mini Catalogue) and the 2nd Sale-a-bration brochure of the year!! Because of that (and the fact that I’m on summer vacation now!!) I am going to be crafting live every day this week. The card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge (FMS542).

Holiday Mode

Hello everyone! I have taken a bit of a break from stamping – which was unexpected, but a lot of fun! My parents were able to travel from Armstrong to visit us so I dropped everything and enjoyed every minute of their company. It was one of our best Christmases ever! Great food, lots of drinks, good card games and lots of laughs. My heart is full!

We even got snow for Christmas – which made our Christmas Day walk so beautiful!

I also wanted to share a bunch of the amazing handmade cards I have received this holiday! I know I didn’t get them all in these photos and no time for credits to the amazing stampers – but hopefully some inspiration for you all! I have such talented friends!

I hope all of you had a gentle holiday – filled with whatever you needed to refill your hearts and recharge after a very different kind of a year. Big hugs to you all! (I don’t normally post family stuff – but I this was such a special week I wanted to share).

I will resume my regular stamping schedule this week – my parents safely made the drive home today.

Christmas Season – Gift Card Holders

This week I am featuring different gift card holders. I love this one since it uses DSP and is so quick and easy to make.

This design can also be easily modified for any time of the year. I love these for Teacher thank you gifts and teen birthdays.

Each gift card is created using a 4″ X 11″ piece of DSP, scored at 3″, 6″, 9″. Then you round the small end to create a nice flap.

Add tear and tape to sides of the end piece that is 3″. Then cut out the card slot and glue the end shut.

Add a piece of white cardstock inside to write on.

Next, fold it all closed, wrap a strip of coordinating 3/4″ X 8-1/2″ cardstock around the closed DSP and tape it together. Finally decorate the cardstock strip.
