The first Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge of 2026 is here, and I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the year than with the timeless elegance of the Nature Walk Suite from Stampin’ Up! 💙🌿

For HSS #479, I created a clean and layered thank you card that highlights the soft, organic beauty of this suite. The Nature Walk Designer Series Paper and Natural Hues 12X12 Textured Specialty Paper adds subtle texture and warmth, while the coordinating leaf die cut brings gentle movement and balance to the design. I kept the colour palette calm and classic, letting the details shine without overwhelming the layout.

This card design is perfect for everyday gratitude cards, sympathy cards, or even thinking-of-you projects. Simple layouts like this are wonderful to keep on hand—and the Nature Walk Suite makes it easy to create something beautiful every time.

Throwback Thursday | Mountain Air Meets GDP512

This week’s Throwback Thursday takes me back to one of my all-time favourite bundles—Mountain Air. Though retired, this set still holds a special place on my shelf, and I couldn’t resist bringing it out for the Global Design Project GDP512 challenge. I paired it with current papers and textures for a fresh twist that feels timeless.

✨Card Details:

Stamp Set: Retired Mountain Air Bundle
DSP: Need for Tweed 12×12
Cardstock: Secret Sea Two-Tone and Basic Beige
Extras: Linen Thread, Adhesive Sheets (for the tree die)

How To Make This Card:

Base: Start with a standard card base in Basic Beige.
Layer 1: Emboss the 4″ X 5-1/4″ Secret Sea Two-Tone cardstock with the Need for Tweed 3D Embossing Folder.
Layer 2: Add a 3″ X 4-1/4″ piece of Need for Tweed DSP slightly to the embossed panel.
Focal Panel: Stamp the mountains in Pretty Peacock and the tree line in Secret Sea Ink onto Basic Beige. Add the sentiment “You are seriously the best” in Secret Sea Ink.
Die-Cuts: Cut the tall pine tree from the Mountain Air dies in Secret Sea cardstock and adhere to the focal panel.
Finishing Touches: Wrap Linen Thread around the bottom, tie a bow, and adhere all the layers to the card base with Dimensionals.

This design is a mix of rugged and refined—perfect for outdoor lovers or simply letting someone know how much they mean to you.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Create the Card Base & Layers

Start with a Pebbled Path cardstock base (5-1/2″ X 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″)—a stunning deep neutral that pairs beautifully with the gold accents. Layer a piece of Timeless Plaid 6×6 DSP (4″ X 5-1/4″) on top, centering it for a clean, polished look.

2. Prepare the Label

Using the Greeting of the Season dies, cut a stitched label from Basic Black cardstock. This dark base makes the gold embossing truly pop!

3. Add the Heat Embossing

Stamp the “Wishing You a Merry Christmas” sentiment onto the label using Versamark Ink. Sprinkle Gold Embossing Powder over the stamped image, tap off the excess, and heat set with a Heat Tool for a luxurious metallic finish.

*Tip – since these words are all seperate in the stamp set, I laid them out on the label in the position I wanted, then I place a clear block on top of them so they were all aligned on one block and easy to stamp at once. This allows me to make multiples of this card quickly and easily.

For extra sophistication, use a speckled texture stamp from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set to add gold-embossed details to the edges of the label.

4. Add the Finishing Touches

Use Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the label off the background, adding depth to your design.

Tie a bow with Basic Beige Bordered Ribbon and attach it to the top of the label.

Embellish with Antique Pearls for subtle texture and shine.

Adhere a piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside for a clean space to write.

Alpine Air Kit by Stampin’ Up!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge # 392 – Sketch Challenge

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a versatile Sketch Challenge. Take a look at all the beautiful cards created by our design team and then join the challenge.

I used a wide range of pinks to create this card. Blushing Bride cardstock, Melon Mambo Ink, Polished Pink Opal Rounds, and Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon. Not to mention the Flirty Flamingo blooms cut fromt he Hues of Happiness DSP. The stamp set I used for the sentiment was Happiness Abounds from the brand new 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

To add some interest to the background of this card I applied Melon Mambo Ink in a small circular motion using a Blending Brush – then I Picked up some Melon Mambo Ink with a Water Paper and splattered it across the embossed and inked background piece. The ribbon and opals add just the right amount of sparkle to the painted blooms.

Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop – June 2022

It’s the 14th of the month – time for another Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This one features all new product from the 2022-2023 Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalogue!! Hop around see all the amazing cards created by our team members! Leave a little love and then come back to see us again on the 14th next month!

I created this card using leftover paper strips in all the blues (Pool Party, Night of Navy, Orchid Oasis, Pacific Point, Starry Sky and Tahitian Tide) and the Adventurous Journey stamp set – one of my favourites from the new catalogue since I love kayaking.

Once the paper strips were glued to the card front I used Versamark to stamp the rings and lily pads so that it would “match” all the shades of blue. I used stamped off Tahitian Tide Ink to create the rings on the Basic White layer.

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a beautiful summer Inspiration Challenge. Take a look at all the beautiful cards created by our design team and then join the challenge.

I used Tahitian Tide (2022-2024 In Color 6X6) DSP and a Tahitian Tide Ink blended background to compliment the Calypso Coral kayak. The stamp set I used was Adventurous Journey rfom the brand new 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.
