Here’s another great card with the new Enjoy the Journey Suite. It was inspired by the TGIF Challenge (#tgifc403)

SAB Sunday – Adorable Owls

Today (and every Sunday during Sale-a-bration Jan 5 – Feb 28) I am going to post a video sharing a Sale-a-bration product and show you items you can purchase to earn it for FREE! Paper Pumpkin – September 2022 – Spooky Treats

The cute spooky-themed September 2022 Paper Pumpkin makes Hallowe’en treat giving a snap. This kit includes all you need to create 18 treat boxes (6 each of 3 designs) but the pieces can actually all be mixed and matched to allow you some extra creativity. These treat boxes are exactly the right size for 2 mini Halloween candy bars or a mini playdoh tub.

I actually need 21 treat boxes for my class, so I got two kits. I made 21 boxes and then used the extra bits to create some Halloween cards. The additional treat box bases I will use to make some treats for my Xmas table ( watch for these in another post). I can make my own box wrapper easily by cutting a piece of DSP or cardstock at 3″ X 8-1/8″, then score at 2-1/2″, 3-1/2″, 6″ and 7-1/8″. Here is the card I made in the video below.

And here is another card I created using one my extra box wrappers. The plaid design hides the score lines so well you can’t see them at all.

The plaid layer is 3″ X 4″. Then I used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a vellum circle and the largest banner. I wrapped a piece of glitter washi tape across the front of the plaid layer and used the ghost and spider web from the kit. You could of course use a plaid DSP and stamp the ghost and spider web if you’ve used up all your pre-made bits. Here are the extra bits I used to make cards from this kit:

The box bases in this kit are simple to put together (once you know what you are doing!) Check out my video to see how to put them together – I show the process many times in the video ( the first time is clumsy because I did NOT know what I was doing – so move along and watch my second, third or fourth fold – much smoother).

Hippest Hippos SAB Card

Every Wednesday morning at 9am(-ish) Pacific Time I craft LIVE on FB and You Tube. This week I am unfortunately needing to go to work – so I went live on Tuesday morning instead. If you didn’t catch my video this morning you can see the card I created below. It was created using the (soon to be gone) Sale-a-bration Hippest Hippos stamp set, Hippo Dies and the Silver & Gold DSP.

I love this colour combo and you can find it ( plus some Pacific Point) in the Fine Sparkle Gems pack. This card is extra special too because it is a 2 for one card. You get a space to write and a smaller space for a gift card. Below is an image of the inside of the card.

Hello Harvest Autumn Card

Every Wednesday morning at 9am(-ish) Pacific Time I craft LIVE on FB and You Tube. If you didn’t catch my video this morning you can see the card I created below. It was created using the Hello Harvest stamp set and the gorgeous Texture Chic 12X12 DSP.

I love autumn and I enjoy using unique colour combos with the leaves. This card uses Mango Melody, Petal Pink and Soft Suede paired with some Pool Party and gold accents. The DSP, Glimmer Paper and Fine Sparkle Gems add LOTS of shine.

I also love to add details to cards by stamping the insides and the envelopes to match.
