I have actually created over 25 cards using these materials in the past 2 days ( and yes – I did leave my craft room for family time, gardening, and time out with the girls 🙂 These cards just go together so easily. Here is the one I created this morning using a sketch challenge from TGIF challenges (#tgifc411).

I used one of the new Basics 3D embossing folders from the Online Exclusives to create the subtle background and added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies – otherwise these images and papers came form the Enjoy the Adventure Card Pack! You can see the very quick video of how it came together below. Today’s card was created using the Perfect Pomegranate HOST stamp set (FREE with a $375CAD party or personal purchase). It was also inspired by the TGIF Challenge (#tgifc376)

I used Sweet Sorbet and Crushed Curry inks to create these vibrant Pomegranate flowers. Then I blended the colour using a Blender Pen, which softened the image and brought out more of the orange in Sweet Sorbet.

To add a little interest to the background I also used clear embossing powder on the pomegranate seeds – hard to see in my photos, but beautiful in person.

Stampin’ Up! has also created a few samples in the SAB brochure using the Perfect Pomegranate stamp set.

I used Blender Pens to create a soft, faux watercolour look on the teacup and stamped off the ink on the sentiment and flowers to get a softer colour as well.

Today’s card was created using two SAB items! Here is a close up of the Silver & Gold 6X6 DSP. Use it as is, or add some colour to it with your blending brushes. The metallics are a great added detail to any card.

April 2022 Online Workshop

Each month I host a FREE Online workshop on FB and You Tube. It is essentially a reverse card class. Colour Challenge Cactus Cuties Card

This is such a beautiful colour combo for the TGIF Challenge #354. The second I saw it I knew I needed to create with the Cactus Cuties stamp set ( there is a matching punch too- but I forgot to buy it when I ordered the stamps – ugh!). Jan-June 2022 Mini Catalogue Launch Party

The new Jan – June 2022 Mini Catalogue and Jan – Feb Sale-a-bration catalogues are both in full swing, so I thought I’d take some time to walk you through and show some of the projects I have created with these new products.

Perfectly Plaid Card

This week the TGIF Challenge (#tgifc342) was a great sketch that worked perfectly with some pieces I already had on my desk top.

The background of this card was created by smooshing basic white cardstock into some leftover watercolour reinker. I then used Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Balmy Blue inks with a blending brush to create some soft colours on which to heat emboss the trees in white. All the layers were put together using Dimensionals. Then some bling was added.

You may want to stock up on some of the inks and cardstocks now while they are on sale!

Sunny Sentiments Thank You Card

All week I am creating using the Sunny Sentiments cling stamp set. Today I created this card for the TGIF Challenge #340.

The three background panels on this card were created by stamping leaves and dots from the Christmas Season stamp set using Blackberry Bliss Ink on Very Vanilla CS.

Frosted Gingerbread Challenge Card

One of my favourite parts of Christmas time is baking/decorating cookies with the kids. This Frosted Gingerbread bundle reminds me of those days and of my Nana’s Gingersnaps. I couldn’t resist creating with it when I saw this week’s colour challenge at Global Design Project (#gdp313) and the sketch challenge for TGIF Challenges (#tgifc337).

My original design used a slightly larger layer and I accented with Rhinestones. The card I created in my live video, I trimmed the Sahara Sand layer to be a bit smaller and I got bold with the Matte Black Dots. The Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon was used to sparkle up the card a bit on both.

The black layer behind the sentiment was placed there more for function than design. It was used to create a wider base on the sentiment so I could attach it with Dimensionals and it would stick to the card base rather than the ribbon that runs behind it.
