Jingle Jingle Jingle – JOY card

Every Wednesday I go live on Facebook and You Tube to create something fun – usually using my weekly featured stamp set. This week I created a card using the Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set and some inspiration from Freshly Made Sketches.

To create the JOY sentiment I partially inked the Jolly sentiment from the stamp set. What other words can you create using this technique? See my video below to watch me do this easy stamping technique.

All of the supplies I used to create today’s card are listed below.

You can place an order by contacting me directly or clicking on the image(s) below.

Joyful Flurry Christmas Card

Stampin’ Up! has released a NEW mini catalogue ( the July – December 2022 Mini Catalogue) and the 2nd Sale-a-bration brochure of the year!! Because of that (and the fact that I’m on summer vacation now!!) I am going to be crafting live every day this week. Todays’ card features the Joyful Flurry bundle since I am a part of a wonderful group offering a Joyful Flurry MEGA Stamp Camp – see all the details and register HERE or through the link below.

The card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge (FMS542).

I love all the sparkly bits on the Glimmer paper, the Festive Pearls and the Gold & Vanilla ribbon.

To learn exactly how I created this card you can see the supply list below or watch the video. The beginning of the video briefly talks about the new Mini catalogue – some of the great host rewards and the SAB host rewards. Holiday Mode

Hello everyone! I have taken a bit of a break from stamping – which was unexpected, but a lot of fun! My parents were able to travel from Armstrong to visit us so I dropped everything and enjoyed every minute of their company. It was one of our best Christmases ever! Great food, lots of drinks, good card games and lots of laughs. My heart is full!

We even got snow for Christmas – which made our Christmas Day walk so beautiful!

I also wanted to share a bunch of the amazing handmade cards I have received this holiday! I know I didn’t get them all in these photos and no time for credits to the amazing stampers – but hopefully some inspiration for you all! I have such talented friends!

I hope all of you had a gentle holiday – filled with whatever you needed to refill your hearts and recharge after a very different kind of a year. Big hugs to you all! (I don’t normally post family stuff – but I this was such a special week I wanted to share).

I will resume my regular stamping schedule this week – my parents safely made the drive home today.

For those of you who haven’t been on the stamping scene lately either – just a reminder that we still have some days left in the last chance sale. Contact me to place an order or use my host code and receive a set of cards from me as a thank you.

Happy Holidays to you all!

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge # 379 – Inspiration Challenge

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a holiday themed Inspiration Challenge. Take a look at all the beautiful cards created by our design team and then join the challenge.

To create this card I started by stamping the word Merry in Crumb Cake Ink on my Crumb Cake card base. Then I embossed a piece of Basic White ( 4″ X 2-3/4″) using the Checks & Dots embossing folder. I tied a piece of the Playful Pets twine trim around the Basic White like I was wrapping a parcel.

Finally I added some painted holly leaves and Gold Holly embellishments and the sentiment tag – just like I was decorating a gift.

I LOVE this set and just can’t stop creating with it.

All of the supplies I used are listed below. You can place an order by contacting me directly or clicking on the image(s) below.

Snowy Christmas Card

Today I am playing with the Perfectly Plaid stamp set again – but using it to create a more traditional Christmas card with a snowy scene. I am also using a sketch from Global Design Project (GDP318) to inspire me.

This card looks a bit complicated, but in reality uses very few materials and only 1 ink and 1 reinker!! The tress and sentiment were stamped in Garden Green and the snow was created by splattering White Craft ink across the stamped scene. To see exactly how I created this please check out my video below and make sure to follow my You Tube channel to see all my latest creations, tips and tricks.

Here is a full list of supplies used to create this rustic card. If you get a chance to shop with me TODAY ( Nov 18, 2021) there is even a Seasonal Sale happening (10% off cardstock, 15% off inks, and 20% off dies).

Perfectly Plaid Card

This week the TGIF Challenge (#tgifc342) was a great sketch that worked perfectly with some pieces I already had on my desk top.

The background of this card was created by smooshing basic white cardstock into some leftover watercolour reinker. I then used Soft Succulent, Evening Evergreen and Balmy Blue inks with a blending brush to create some soft colours on which to heat emboss the trees in white. All the layers were put together using Dimensionals. Then some bling was added.

You may want to stock up on some of the inks and cardstocks now while they are on sale!

Playful Alphabet Christmas Card Sketch

You all know I LOVE a good Card Sketch – so I had to play along with Freshly Made sketches today.

I wanted to create a blue and silver Christmas card – but couldn’t find a blue DSP in my stash that felt like Christmas. So I created my own using the Festive Foliage stamp set. I embossed it with white and then dipped the whole piece in watered down blue reinker. Once that dried I created a silver mat by inking the edges of a slightly larger piece of cardstock with Versamark and then dipping in Silver embossing powder. Heat it up and voila! Silver border without using a whole piece of Silver Foil.

The rest of the card came together quickly as I cut out my sentiment from the Playful Alphabet dies ( this time I did use Silver Foil – with adhesive sheet on the back to make sticking down the letters a breeze). The tag is from the Tasteful Label Dies cut out of Misty Moonlight. I added the slits for the amazing Glittered Organdy ribbon using the Label Me Fancy Punch. A few Opal Rounds and the card was complete.

Here is a full list of supplies used. I am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator in Canada – so if you’d like to place an order for any of these supplies – just click the images below or contact me directly. Also, please leave a comment below and make sure to follow this blog for more great inspiration!
