I went live this evening to create a cheerful, texture-filled handmade card featuring Stampin’ Up!’s January 2026 Product of the Month – Fabulous Sayings stamp set, and it was such a fun project to share!

If you missed the live crafting session, you can catch the full replay here:
👉 Watch the replay:
For this card, I paired the Fabulous Sayings stamp set with the adorable Wooly Friends stamp set for a playful, feel-good design. The sweet sheep image adds charm and personality, while the sentiments in Fabulous Sayings are perfect for thank-you and encouragement cards.
To really elevate the design, I used the Splashes of Sparkles Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper adds soft colour, shimmer, and texture—making it ideal for focal panels and background interest without overwhelming the card design.
The Fabulous Sayings stamp set is incredibly versatile. From gratitude cards to happy mail, the sentiments are bold, modern, and easy to mix with other stamp sets—just like I did with Wooly Friends in tonight’s project.
If you’re shopping in Canada, here’s how to snag the January 2026 Product of the Month deal:
It’s a fantastic way to stretch your crafting budget while adding a must-have stamp set to your collection.

I’m excited to share my card for Global Design Project Challenge #GDP528, featuring the theme CASE the Designer. This project originally appeared on the Global Design Project FB page, and I’m happy to finally share it here on Stampin’ With Leah for my creative community.

For this handmade card, I used the Feathered Fun stamp set by Stampin’ Up!, stamping the image in Secret Sea ink for a bold yet calming base. I then brought the design to life using Azure Afternoon, Summer Splash, Lemon Lolly, and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. These colours work beautifully together and add depth while keeping the card soft and heartfelt.
One of my favourite details is how the birds naturally form a heart shape, making this card perfect for a thinking of you, encouragement, or sympathy card. To finish the design, I added a few Pearls of Beauty, giving the card just the right touch of elegant sparkle without overwhelming the clean layout.
CASE-ing (Copy And Selectively Edit) is one of my favourite ways to create handmade cards. Whether you’re inspired by a layout, colour palette, or overall style, CASE-ing is a fantastic way to spark creativity and make a design your own.
Be sure to visit the Global Design Project to see all the beautiful CASE the Designer ideas from the design team and join the challenge yourself. I’d love to know — what part of a card do you usually CASE first?

Welcome back to another Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! Each month, our creative team from across Canada shares projects based on a fun challenge—this time we’re working with a sketch. Sketches are one of my favourite ways to jump-start creativity, and today’s card came together beautifully with texture, layers, and a bold Christmas sentiment.

The patterned strips follow the sketch layout and come from the Regal Distressed Patterns 12″ x 12″ Specialty DSP. I love the combination of deep Pretty Peacock, hint of gold, and that pop of Cherry Cobbler—it feels festive and modern all at once.
The sentiment is from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set, stamped in Secret Sea ink for a cool, elegant contrast. I die-cut it using the Spotlight on Nature dies, which frame the greeting beautifully.
A bit of White and Gold Baker’s twine and some Iridescent Gems finish the card with just the right touch of holiday shine.

Welcome to this month’s Coast to Coast Stampers Blog Hop! Our theme is ’Tis the Season, and I couldn’t resist going classic and elegant for my project.

To bring in some festive color, I fussy-cut a few florals from the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper and tucked them around the sentiment. A strip of red patterned DSP peeking through ties it all together. Of course, no Christmas card is complete without a bit of shimmer — so I added a sprinkle of Traditional Sparkling Sequins for that finishing touch.
This card truly captures everything I love about the season — a mix of texture, warmth, and timeless style.

Stampin’ Up!’s brand new Big Little Things Stamp Set (released November 4th, 2025) is full of charm and heart. I couldn’t resist using the sweet manatee image for this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge. It’s perfect for thank-you cards, birthdays, or just-because notes — and it pairs beautifully with subtle seaside tones.

To get this soft ombré look on your background, lightly blend Lost Lagoon ink over your embossed panel using a Blending Brush. It highlights the raised areas and brings the waves to life.

Card sketches are one of my favourite ways to kickstart creativity — and this week’s Global Design Project #GDP522 sketch was the perfect excuse to play with the Jolly Holly Bundle from Stampin’ Up!®.

For this cheerful holiday card, I went with a fun non-traditional colour combo:
🎨 Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, and Coastal Cabana.
The background is embossed with holly leaves for a soft texture, and I added White & Gold Baker’s Twine for a touch of sparkle. The Strawberry Slush Gems finish the look perfectly — just the right pop of shimmer to balance the playful colours.
I love how this card turned out — bright, modern, and full of Christmas cheer! 🌿✨

I’m so excited to share my very first project as a new member of the Global Design Project Design Team! 🎉
This week’s challenge is a beautiful colour combination for #GDP521, and I couldn’t resist using the adorable Party Piggy bundle (on the Last Chance list 🐷). I paired it with the Beautiful Bokeh 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper and the Dotted Circle 3D Embossing Folder, each layered on Calypso Coral mats for a bright, playful look.

The sentiment, “I HAM so proud of you,” is heat embossed in white on a strip of Granny Apple Green cardstock, adding a crisp, bold contrast to the soft piggy tones. I finished the card with Traditional Sparkling Sequins and White & Gold Baker’s Twine for just the right touch of shimmer.

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments Colour Challenge is a gorgeous one — featuring Cherry Cobbler, Secret Sea, and Pool Party. These colours come together beautifully for a rich, festive look that’s perfect for holiday cardmaking.

For my project, I pulled out the Merry Christmas stamp set — I just love that elegant, bold font! I paired it with the sweet poinsettia image from the Jolly Holly stamp set for a touch of classic Christmas charm.
The background layers showcase the Regal Distressed Designer Series Paper — that subtle pattern adds just the right amount of texture and warmth. To finish off the design, I tied on some Secret Sea ribbon for a soft pop of colour and shimmer.
A few stamped poinsettias and low profile sparkle dots complete the look for a simple yet stunning holiday greeting card.
