Coast to Coast Creators – April 2026 | Retiring In Colors

This month for our Coast to Coast Creators hop, we’re celebrating the beautiful retiring 2024–2026 In Colors—and I couldn’t resist using all five on one cheerful card!

For my project, I started with a Summer Splash card base, which really makes everything pop. I paired it with the gorgeous Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder (sadly on the Last Chance list!) to create that soft, flowing texture in the background.

The star of the show is the adorable upcoming stamp set Caring Animals (coming May 2026!). I stamped the sweet birds and sentiment image and coloured them using the retiring In Color Stampin’ Blends:

  • Petunia Pop
  • Peach Pie
  • Summer Splash
  • Pretty in Pink
  • Shy Shamrock

I love how each little bird brings a pop of colour while still keeping the design clean and simple.

To finish it off, I added a torn strip of Summer Splash cardstock behind the sentiment for a bit of texture and dimension, along with a few soft Pretty In Pink Flat Pearls.

This card is a perfect reminder to grab your favourite In Color products before they’re gone!

I used the brand new Flowers Fair stamp and the Simple Alphabet stamp set to create this fresh spring card!

Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop – February Colour Challenge!

Welcome back to another Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! Each month, our creative team from across Canada shares projects based on a fun challenge—this time we’re creating using a Valentine’s inspired colour combo. I used the Hope Love and Joy bundle to create this fun card that can be sent any time of year – but especially this February!

For the background, I used the 2025-2027 In Color 6×6 DSP on a Flirty Flamingo cardbase. I embossed a piece of Bubble Bath cardstock with the Hearts of Love 3D embossing folder. and layered it onto a Strawberry Slush mat. The sentiment was stamped in Real Red Ink on a Textured Notes die ( these are on the Last Chance list!). All the hearts were die cut with the Hope Love Joy dies in Poppy Parade, Strawberry Slush, and Bubble Bath.

Finally I embellished the card with Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems (also on thelast chance list).

Finally, here is the other card that I shared in my LIVE video. A simple 4″X4″ piece of DSP, then cut it on the diagonal white line nearest the middle. Glue each half to the top and bottom of a 4″ X 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock and finish crafting.

Fabulous Sayings Meets Wooly Friends | January 2026 Product of the Month Live Replay

I went live this evening to create a cheerful, texture-filled handmade card featuring Stampin’ Up!’s January 2026 Product of the Month – Fabulous Sayings stamp set, and it was such a fun project to share!

For this card, I paired the Fabulous Sayings stamp set with the adorable Wooly Friends stamp set for a playful, feel-good design. The sweet sheep image adds charm and personality, while the sentiments in Fabulous Sayings are perfect for thank-you and encouragement cards.

To really elevate the design, I used the Splashes of Sparkles Specialty Designer Series Paper. This paper adds soft colour, shimmer, and texture—making it ideal for focal panels and background interest without overwhelming the card design.

The Fabulous Sayings stamp set is incredibly versatile. From gratitude cards to happy mail, the sentiments are bold, modern, and easy to mix with other stamp sets—just like I did with Wooly Friends in tonight’s project.

Global Design Project #GDP528 | CASE the Designer Card with Feathered Fun

I’m excited to share my card for Global Design Project Challenge #GDP528, featuring the theme CASE the Designer. This project originally appeared on the Global Design Project FB page, and I’m happy to finally share it here on Stampin’ With Leah for my creative community.

For this handmade card, I used the Feathered Fun stamp set by Stampin’ Up!, stamping the image in Secret Sea ink for a bold yet calming base. I then brought the design to life using Azure Afternoon, Summer Splash, Lemon Lolly, and Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. These colours work beautifully together and add depth while keeping the card soft and heartfelt.

One of my favourite details is how the birds naturally form a heart shape, making this card perfect for a thinking of you, encouragement, or sympathy card. To finish the design, I added a few Pearls of Beauty, giving the card just the right touch of elegant sparkle without overwhelming the clean layout.

CASE-ing (Copy And Selectively Edit) is one of my favourite ways to create handmade cards. Whether you’re inspired by a layout, colour palette, or overall style, CASE-ing is a fantastic way to spark creativity and make a design your own.
