SAB Sunday – Adorable Owls

Today (and every Sunday during Sale-a-bration Jan 5 – Feb 28) I am going to post a video sharing a Sale-a-bration product and show you items you can purchase to earn it for FREE! Summer Sale-a-Bration 2022 – Perfect Pomegranate card

Today’s card was created using the Perfect Pomegranate HOST stamp set (FREE with a $375CAD party or personal purchase). It was also inspired by the TGIF Challenge (#tgifc376)

I used Sweet Sorbet and Crushed Curry inks to create these vibrant Pomegranate flowers. Then I blended the colour using a Blender Pen, which softened the image and brought out more of the orange in Sweet Sorbet.

To add a little interest to the background I also used clear embossing powder on the pomegranate seeds – hard to see in my photos, but beautiful in person.

Stampin’ Up! has also created a few samples in the SAB brochure using the Perfect Pomegranate stamp set.

I used Blender Pens to create a soft, faux watercolour look on the teacup and stamped off the ink on the sentiment and flowers to get a softer colour as well.

This FREE Rings of Love DSP has a wide variety of images for all seasons. Stampin’ Up! has also created a lot of samples in the SAB brochure pairing it with the Ringed With Nature bundle.

Today’s card was created using two SAB items! The Silver & Gold 6×6 DSP (FREE with a $60CAD purchase) and the Making Plans stamp set (Part of the Making Plans Collection that you will receive for FREE when you purchase the Starter Kit for only $135CAD). It was inspired by the TGIF Colour Challenge (tgifc375).

These soft colours mixed with the Silver DSP made me think of a pastel watermelon. I love this combo – it is great for a hazy summer day. This card is also a great one to have on hand – especially if you are hosting your first Stampin’ Party with friends and family 🙂

Here is a close up of the Silver & Gold 6X6 DSP. Use it as is, or add some colour to it with your blending brushes. The metallics are a great added detail to any card.
