This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a fantastic Colour Challenge. Soft and subtle – perfect for non-traditional Valentine’s- we have a wide variety of styles in the cards created by our design team – check them all out and then join the challenge.

Here is mine created using the Love Cats stamp set.

I have been playing around with the BRAND new Enjoy the Journey Suite. I designed two drastically different cards using the same set.

The cards that Stampin’ Up! created for the catalogue also showcase the beauty of the DSP and the dies in the suite.

Hippest Hippos SAB Card

Every Wednesday morning at 9am(-ish) Pacific Time I craft LIVE on FB and You Tube. This week I am unfortunately needing to go to work – so I went live on Tuesday morning instead. If you didn’t catch my video this morning you can see the card I created below. It was created using the (soon to be gone) Sale-a-bration Hippest Hippos stamp set, Hippo Dies and the Silver & Gold DSP.

I love this colour combo and you can find it ( plus some Pacific Point) in the Fine Sparkle Gems pack. This card is extra special too because it is a 2 for one card. You get a space to write and a smaller space for a gift card. Below is an image of the inside of the card.

Summer Sale-a-Bration 2022 – Perfect Pomegranate card

Today’s card was created using the Perfect Pomegranate HOST stamp set (FREE with a $375CAD party or personal purchase). It was also inspired by the TGIF Challenge (#tgifc376)

I used Sweet Sorbet and Crushed Curry inks to create these vibrant Pomegranate flowers. Then I blended the colour using a Blender Pen, which softened the image and brought out more of the orange in Sweet Sorbet.

To add a little interest to the background I also used clear embossing powder on the pomegranate seeds – hard to see in my photos, but beautiful in person.

Stampin’ Up! has also created a few samples in the SAB brochure using the Perfect Pomegranate stamp set.

Today’s card was created using the Rings of Love DSP (FREE with a $60CAD purchase) and the Cup of Tea bundle.

I used Blender Pens to create a soft, faux watercolour look on the teacup and stamped off the ink on the sentiment and flowers to get a softer colour as well.

This FREE Rings of Love DSP has a wide variety of images for all seasons. Stampin’ Up! has also created a lot of samples in the SAB brochure pairing it with the Ringed With Nature bundle.
