Joyful Flurry Christmas Card

2 Comments July 2, 2022 Leah Dixon - Stampin Up! Demonstrator

Stampin’ Up! has released a NEW mini catalogue ( the July – December 2022 Mini Catalogue) and the 2nd Sale-a-bration brochure of the year!! Because of that (and the fact that I’m on summer vacation now!!) I am going to be crafting live every day this week. Todays’ card features the Joyful Flurry bundle since I am a part of a wonderful group offering a Joyful Flurry MEGA Stamp Camp – see all the details and register HERE or through the link below.

The card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge (FMS542).

I love all the sparkly bits on the Glimmer paper, the Festive Pearls and the Gold & Vanilla ribbon.

To learn exactly how I created this card you can see the supply list below or watch the video. The beginning of the video briefly talks about the new Mini catalogue – some of the great host rewards and the SAB host rewards. I also showed the fantastic Making Plans Collection that you can receive for FREE when you join my Ink Pad Pals Stamping Team. Happiness Abounds – Colour Challenge card

Leave a comment June 29, 2022 Leah Dixon - Stampin Up! Demonstrator

Every Wednesday morning I go live on FB and You Tube to create something using the Stampin’ Up! product that I am featuring that week. This Wednesday I created with the Happiness Abounds Bundle – a set I am featuring since I am also hosting a Hues of Happiness Stamp Camp with my team in July – see all the details and register HERE or through the link below.

The card design was inspired by the Global Design Project Colour Challenge (#GDP349).

This quick and easy technique of colouring the background with Stampin’ Blends was something fun I learned at a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator exclusive Creativity Now event. Do you want to be a part of fun stampin’ events too? Contact me to find out more about how you can join my team and be a part of our great Crafting Community.

Abstract Beauty Card

Leave a comment January 5, 2022 Leah Dixon - Stampin Up! Demonstrator

The NEW JJ2022 Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalogue was released this week and I am in love with so many of the sets and suites. To see all of the new product contact me to get a catalogue or check out the online catalogues here.

Today I am playing around with the Abstract Beauty Suite.

The whole suite has so many great elements! The watercolour washes and the gold accents contrast nicely with the harsh edges of the geometric shapes. It is abstract art to the next level.

The design was inspired by the Global Design Project challenge #324.

I decided to pair this challenge with this suite because I wanted you to see how much fun it can be to create with. I’m not the only one who thinks so. Myself and 7 other Canadian Demonstrators have teamed together to create a 16 card Abstract Beauty MEGA Stamp Camp. When you purchase the Abstract Beauty Suite from me you will get FREE access to this event. If you already own the stamp set and dies or don’t live in Canada don’t worry we have you covered too. See all the details by clicking the image below.

What’s even sweeter is that when you order the Abstract Beauty Suite – not only will you get access to the Stamp Camp – but you’ll earn FREE Sale-a-bration items!

To learn more about this suite and see how I made this card – check out my video. You can also try to catch me live at 9am Pacific Time on Wednesday mornings.

Please leave a comment below and make sure to follow this blog for more great inspiration!

This sweet card was created using the Sweet Little Stockings Bundle. The layout was inspired by the MFT Sketch Challenge 552.

The images in this new bundle are fantastic, the dies comprehensive, and the DSP is festive. Watch the video below to see all the details on how I created this.

Do you love these images as much as me? Join me and 6 incredibly talented friends as we bring you our Sweet Stockings Weekend Stamp Camp! This will be a full weekend stamp camp, September 18-19, 2021, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm PDT on both days! It will be a fabulous weekend crafting together from anywhere in Canada! (pdf and online access only is also available to those of you outside of Canada).

Have A Peachy Day

The weather here in BC feels like summer and these peaches transport me to my childhood, summer days in Penticton. I created today’s card specifically for the Freshly Made Sketches challenge. If you haven’t tried your hand at a sketch challenge you really should. Such a great way to design cards and sometimes really stretches your creative thinking.
