Celebrate the Miracle – A Handmade Hanukkah Card | Monday Live Replay

Hanukkah began on Sunday, making it the perfect time to feature the Celebrate the Miracle stamp set during this week’s Monday Live. This symbolic and elegant stamp set is ideal for creating meaningful handmade Hanukkah cards.

For this project, I paired the stamps with the calm, wintery patterns of the Peaceful Garden 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, creating a beautiful backdrop for the menorah image.

Just a reminder that Stampin’ Up!’s Product of the Month, True Blue Florals 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, is still available. While it wasn’t used on this card, the monochromatic blue designs would work beautifully for Hanukkah cards and other winter-themed projects.

Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop – December Sketch Challenge!

Welcome back to another Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! Each month, our creative team from across Canada shares projects based on a fun challenge—this time we’re working with a sketch. Sketches are one of my favourite ways to jump-start creativity, and today’s card came together beautifully with texture, layers, and a bold Christmas sentiment.

For the background, I used the Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder. After embossing, I lightly swiped white ink across the raised areas to highlight all that gorgeous detail—it gives such a frosty, winter-wreath look!

The patterned strips follow the sketch layout and come from the Regal Distressed Patterns 12″ x 12″ Specialty DSP. I love the combination of deep Pretty Peacock, hint of gold, and that pop of Cherry Cobbler—it feels festive and modern all at once.

The sentiment is from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set, stamped in Secret Sea ink for a cool, elegant contrast. I die-cut it using the Spotlight on Nature dies, which frame the greeting beautifully.

A bit of White and Gold Baker’s twine and some Iridescent Gems finish the card with just the right touch of holiday shine.

Merry Christmas — Hand Stamped Sentiments Colour Challenge #HSS478

Today I’m sharing my card for the Hand Stamped Sentiments HSS478 Colour Challenge, and it’s the perfect project if you’re still squeezing in a few last-minute Christmas cards! I wanted something quick, clean, and still absolutely stunning—and this bold “Merry Christmas” sentiment delivered exactly that.

I stamped the Merry Christmas image in Shaded Spruce onto Basic White cardstock, then layered it over a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock and a full background of Need for Tweed 12″ x 12″ DSP for cozy winter texture. The frame comes from the Textured Notes Dies, and I tucked in a few delicate vellum leaves cut with the brand-new Nature’s Symphony Dies—coming in January! A sprinkle of Traditional Sparkling Sequins adds just the right amount of festive shine.

It’s getting late in the season, but if you need a card that’s fast and fabulous, this one is definitely the ticket.

This is my final HSS design team project for 2025, but I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be returning to the team again in 2026. Thank you for all the love and support this year—your encouragement means so much. 💚✨

Treat Bag Duo – Modern & Traditional Christmas

Today I’m sharing the replay of tonight’s FB Live where we created two adorable Christmas treat bags—one with a bold, modern vibe and one with a warm, traditional feel. These are quick, candy-friendly, and perfect for teachers, coworkers, stocking stuffers, or class treats. Even better? They both come together with just a bit of scoring, folding, and Tear’n’Tape!

🎄 Treat Bag #1 – Modern Christmas Style

This one features the striking black-and-white pattern from the Modern Christmas DSP. I paired it with the Real Red Shiny Ribbon (currently on the Last Chance List!), White Baker’s Twine, and a tag created with the 1-7/8″ Circle Punch and Stylish Shapes circles.
The sentiment comes from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set, and I added a little sparkle with sequins.

🎄 Treat Bag #2 – Traditional Christmas Style

Our second bag has that classic cozy holiday look using the Traditional Christmas DSP. I finished the top with Secret Sea Faux Linen Ribbon and Black, White & Gold Baker’s Twine.
The tag is built with Stylish Shapes circles, stamped with the Holly Jolly stamp set in Real Red Ink, and brushed with Wink of Stella for a soft shimmer.

Both treat bags are assembled with Tear’n’Tape, making them sturdy and gift-ready.

’Tis the Season – Coast to Coast Blog Hop November 2025

Welcome to this month’s Coast to Coast Stampers Blog Hop! Our theme is ’Tis the Season, and I couldn’t resist going classic and elegant for my project.

I started with the stunning Merry Christmas stamp as my focal point — it’s bold, graceful, and perfect for a traditional holiday card. I layered it over a piece of Secret Sea cardstock embossed with the Peaceful Greenery 3D embossing folder, which adds such beautiful texture and depth.

To bring in some festive color, I fussy-cut a few florals from the Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper and tucked them around the sentiment. A strip of red patterned DSP peeking through ties it all together. Of course, no Christmas card is complete without a bit of shimmer — so I added a sprinkle of Traditional Sparkling Sequins for that finishing touch.

This card truly captures everything I love about the season — a mix of texture, warmth, and timeless style.

This week’s Facebook Live was all about modern elegance with a pink twist! I featured the stunning Modern Christmas Suite by Stampin’ Up! to create a bold yet festive design that blends pink, black, and gold—a perfect combo for anyone who loves a chic, non-traditional holiday look.

I adore how the gold embossing and delicate vellum details bring just the right amount of shimmer and sophistication. The playful trees add a touch of whimsy, while the clean sentiment—“Wishing You Peace & Joy”—keeps the message heartfelt and classic.

I couldn’t resist using the sweet manatee image for this week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments Sketch Challenge. It’s perfect for thank-you cards, birthdays, or just-because notes — and it pairs beautifully with subtle seaside tones.

Design Tip 💡

To get this soft ombré look on your background, lightly blend Lost Lagoon ink over your embossed panel using a Blending Brush. It highlights the raised areas and brings the waves to life.

💌 Bright & Happy Christmas Wishes – #GDP522 Card Sketch Challenge

Card sketches are one of my favourite ways to kickstart creativity — and this week’s Global Design Project #GDP522 sketch was the perfect excuse to play with the Jolly Holly Bundle from Stampin’ Up!®.

For this cheerful holiday card, I went with a fun non-traditional colour combo:
🎨 Strawberry Slush, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, and Coastal Cabana.

The background is embossed with holly leaves for a soft texture, and I added White & Gold Baker’s Twine for a touch of sparkle. The Strawberry Slush Gems finish the look perfectly — just the right pop of shimmer to balance the playful colours.

I love how this card turned out — bright, modern, and full of Christmas cheer! 🌿✨

I HAM So Proud of You – Global Design Project #GDP521

I’m so excited to share my very first project as a new member of the Global Design Project Design Team! 🎉

This week’s challenge is a beautiful colour combination for #GDP521, and I couldn’t resist using the adorable Party Piggy bundle (on the Last Chance list 🐷). I paired it with the Beautiful Bokeh 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper and the Dotted Circle 3D Embossing Folder, each layered on Calypso Coral mats for a bright, playful look.

The sentiment, “I HAM so proud of you,” is heat embossed in white on a strip of Granny Apple Green cardstock, adding a crisp, bold contrast to the soft piggy tones. I finished the card with Traditional Sparkling Sequins and White & Gold Baker’s Twine for just the right touch of shimmer.
