Who doesn’t love a cute doggie card? The Christmas Scottie stamp set is perfect for creating holiday cards. I was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge (#FMS557)

This little doggie is so cute and it’s easy to create a box of any colour or size to add onto him. I paired him up with the fantastic Santa Express 12×12 DSP. It actually escaped my attention at first – but I am so glad to have the fun stripes, spots, snowflakes and sentiments in my crafting stash.

Brightest Glow Card

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are all having a great weekend. I am taking advantage of the long weekend to get some extra stamping done. I created a quick card today using the Brightest Glow Bundle.

The dies in this bundle are extremely detailed and beautiful and the sentiments are so elegant.

Christmas Season Online Card Class

Once a month I hold an online card class. How it works is I create 3 cards for you live and then for the next 3 days anyone who places a $65+cad order using my host code will receive the make’n’take kit and printable pdf to create the 3 cards. Orders over $100 will also receive a free embellishment. This month I featured the Christmas Season stamp set and the Seasonal Labels Dies. Celebrate With Tags Birthday Card

Today’s card was created using the incredibly versatile and fun Celebrate With Tags bundle. It was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketch (#FMS556)

The dies in this bundle are definitely a highlight. They make crafting a breeze sine they coordinate with the stamps AND have added features – like these candles, the hearts dies and of course the tag dies themselves.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge # 399 – Colour Challenge

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a bright Colour Challenge. Take a look at all the beautiful cards created by our design team and then join the challenge.

I had a lot of fun using these colours to create this birthday card.

I clearly LOVE sparkle – so the Starry Sky Glimmer Paper and the Starry Sky Metallic Ribbon were perfect for this card.

Yeti To Party Box Card

Every Wednesday I go live on Facebook and You Tube to create something fun – usually using my weekly featured stamp set. This week I created a fun fold card using the time-limited Yeti To Party bundle. The dies are only available until Sep 30th!

In my live I gave the audience a choice of Sweet Sorbet or Fresh Freesia – Sweet Sorbet won – but afterwards I created the Fresh Freesia version. I like both – but I think the Fresh Freesia is my favourite. What do you think?

Brightest Glow Card

The card I created in the video used Cherry Cobbler ink and some Clear Embossing powder to prevent smudges. The New Years Card had the sentiment stamped in Versamark and then heat embossed with Basic Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder.

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a versatile Sketch Challenge. Take a look at all the beautiful cards created by our design team and then join the challenge.

I used Snowflake 12 X12 Specialty Vellum and the Celebrate With Tags Bundle to create this festive card. Then I used the same sketch to create a fun Paper Pumpkin alternative card as well.

You can literally take a 3″ X 4″ piece of ANY DSP then add a sentiment strip and circular image or base for images. All of the supplies I used to create today’s holiday (not the Paper Pumpkin) card are listed below and on this handy printable recipe card.

Paper Pumpkin – September 2022 – Spooky Treats

The cute spooky-themed September 2022 Paper Pumpkin makes Hallowe’en treat giving a snap. This kit includes all you need to create 18 treat boxes (6 each of 3 designs) but the pieces can actually all be mixed and matched to allow you some extra creativity. These treat boxes are exactly the right size for 2 mini Halloween candy bars or a mini playdoh tub.

I actually need 21 treat boxes for my class, so I got two kits. I made 21 boxes and then used the extra bits to create some Halloween cards. The additional treat box bases I will use to make some treats for my Xmas table ( watch for these in another post). I can make my own box wrapper easily by cutting a piece of DSP or cardstock at 3″ X 8-1/8″, then score at 2-1/2″, 3-1/2″, 6″ and 7-1/8″. Here is the card I made in the video below.

And here is another card I created using one my extra box wrappers. The plaid design hides the score lines so well you can’t see them at all.

The plaid layer is 3″ X 4″. Then I used the Stylish Shapes dies to cut a vellum circle and the largest banner. I wrapped a piece of glitter washi tape across the front of the plaid layer and used the ghost and spider web from the kit. You could of course use a plaid DSP and stamp the ghost and spider web if you’ve used up all your pre-made bits. Here are the extra bits I used to make cards from this kit:

Check out my video to see how to put them together – I show the process many times in the video ( the first time is clumsy because I did NOT know what I was doing – so move along and watch my second, third or fourth fold – much smoother).
