I used Water Painters and re-inkers to add a soft watercolour to this beautiful image. Quick and simple water colouring.

Today’s card was created using the Rings of Love DSP (FREE with a $60CAD purchase) and the Cup of Tea bundle.

I used Blender Pens to create a soft, faux watercolour look on the teacup and stamped off the ink on the sentiment and flowers to get a softer colour as well.

This FREE Rings of Love DSP has a wide variety of images for all seasons. Stampin’ Up! has also created a lot of samples in the SAB brochure pairing it with the Ringed With Nature bundle.

Today’s post actually shows you 3 cards. (I got busy with summer activities (paddle boarding, badminton and camp fires) yesterday and did not have time to post).

All three of the cards I created loosely follow the great card sketch from Global Design Project (#GDP350)

My Tuesday card was created using a new bundle and a Sale-A-Bration item! The Ringed With Nature bundle and the Amazing Phrasing SAB stamp set.

My Wednesday cards were created using the Happiness Abounds bundle and the Pool Party and Soft Seafoam Cards & Envelopes SAB item.

Today’s card was created using two SAB items! It was inspired by the TGIF Colour Challenge (tgifc375).

These soft colours mixed with the Silver DSP made me think of a pastel watermelon. I love this combo – it is great for a hazy summer day. This card is also a great one to have on hand – especially if you are hosting your first Stampin’ Party with friends and family 🙂

Here is a close up of the Silver & Gold 6X6 DSP. Use it as is, or add some colour to it with your blending brushes. The metallics are a great added detail to any card.

Joyful Flurry Christmas Card

Stampin’ Up! has released a NEW mini catalogue ( the July – December 2022 Mini Catalogue) and the 2nd Sale-a-bration brochure of the year!! Because of that (and the fact that I’m on summer vacation now!!) I am going to be crafting live every day this week. Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge # 392 – Sketch Challenge

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a versatile Sketch Challenge. Take a look at all the beautiful cards created by our design team and then join the challenge.

I used a wide range of pinks to create this card. Blushing Bride cardstock, Melon Mambo Ink, Polished Pink Opal Rounds, and Sweet Sorbet Metallic Woven Ribbon. Not to mention the Flirty Flamingo blooms cut fromt he Hues of Happiness DSP. The stamp set I used for the sentiment was Happiness Abounds from the brand new 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalogue.

To add some interest to the background of this card I applied Melon Mambo Ink in a small circular motion using a Blending Brush – then I Picked up some Melon Mambo Ink with a Water Paper and splattered it across the embossed and inked background piece. The ribbon and opals add just the right amount of sparkle to the painted blooms.

Sweetest Cherries Cards

All week I have been crafting with the Sweetest Cherries stamp set. I actually have 2 new cards to share with you.

This first one was created in bright summery colours – Sweet Sorbet ( with Cherry Cobbler along the edges of the cherries), paired with Early espresso and Crumb Cake to create a basket feel.

The second card was created using deep, rich Merry Merlot to create more of a black cherry feeling. I love that this set can be playful, subtle, or crisp depending on the colours you use to craft the cherries.

Every Wednesday morning I go live on FB and You Tube to create something using the Stampin’ Up! product that I am featuring that week. This Wednesday I created with the Sweetest Cherries stamp set.

The card design was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketches #541.
