I love digging into my retired favourites for Throwback Thursday, and this week I reached for the classic So Sentimental stamp set and coordinating Stitched So Sweetly dies. These two retired gems were always a go-to for quick but polished cards—and they still hold up beautifully!
For today’s card, I started with a Secret Sea card base and layered on a Basic White panel. To build the background, I used a bold strip of Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper, along with two strips of cardstock in Strawberry Slush and Summer Splash. I embossed both cardstock pieces using the Glass and Gardens Embossing Folders to add gorgeous texture and dimension.
The sentiment is stamped from the So Sentimental set and cut with one of the Stitched So Sweetly dies—still one of my all-time favourite label sets. To finish off the card, I added a bow made from White 1/4″ Ribbon and a few of the 2025–2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Secret Sea. These little pearls are just the right touch of shimmer!
🎨 Tips & Tricks
Try this layout using whatever sentiment and label dies you have on hand. It’s versatile and a great way to use up DSP scraps!
Embossing contrasting cardstock pieces adds texture without overwhelming your design.
Use tone-on-tone colour schemes (like Secret Sea pearls on a Secret Sea base) to keep embellishments subtle and elegant.
✨ Make It Your Own Don’t have So Sentimental? No problem! This design is the perfect blank canvas. Swap in your favourite sentiment set and label dies to suit any occasion—from birthdays to thank-yous and everything in between.
Don’t forget – you’ll earn Stampin’ Rewards on your purchase too!
Today is the last day of this three-day sale – it is the perfect opportunity to stock up on every color of two-tone cardstock. Whether you’re making cards or a scrapbook spread, two-tone cardstock is a must-have crafting staple. Each piece of cardstock has a smooth texture for stamping and a white core that works great for techniques like tearing, sanding, crumpling, embossing, etc.
I’m so excited to play along with this week’s Global Design Project Challenge #GDP504– a “CASE the Designer” featuring the incredibly talented Mikaela Titheridge. Her soft colour blending and layout were so inspiring, and I knew I wanted to echo that joyful background and layered look.
For my version, I went bold, bright, and fruity using the Cheers & Sips Bundle – the perfect pick for summer celebrations!
🖌 How I Created This Card:
1. The Background: I started with a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and painted three horizontal washes using these vibrant Stampin’ Up! colours:
Timid Tiger (top)
Strawberry Slush (middle)
Lemon Lime Twist (bottom)
I kept the strokes loose and organic for that fresh, summery look. Once dry, I cut the panel using the stitched rectangle from the Textured Notes Dies.
2. Embossed Gate Fold Base: My card base is a gatefold design using Summer Splash cardstock. I embossed both front flaps using the gorgeous Glass & Gardens 3D Embossing Folder, which adds such an elegant texture to frame the bright centre panel.
3. Stamped & Coloured Elements: Using the Cheers & Sips Bundle, I stamped the citrus, strawberry, and lime images in Calypso Coral, Secret Sea and Old Olive Inks and coloured them in with Stampin’ Blends (matching the watercolour stripes – Peach Pie for the citrus, Strawberry Slush for the strawberry and Granny Apple Green for the lime).
4. Sentiment & Finishing Touches: The sentiment, “Cheers – Let’s Celebrate!”, is stamped in Secret Sea and die-cut with the banner from the Stylish Shapes Dies. For a final bit of sparkle, I added a few Holographic Resin Dots.
Want to create this at home? All the supplies I used are listed below – just click to shop!
It’s bright, playful, and perfect for summer birthdays, BBQ invites, or just saying “cheers” to a friend. I love how the fruit and colours play together and how the embossed gatefold makes it extra special.

This week’s Throwback Thursday card brings all the heartwarming feels with a gentle nod to the past. I used the retired Wildly Happy stamp set—one of my all-time favourites for baby cards. Those adorable elephants are stamped in Basic Gray and softly coloured with Smoky Slate Blends, making them the perfect centrepiece for this new baby design.
To keep the card fresh and on-trend, I paired the stamped panel with the cheerful floral print from the 2025–2027 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper. The soft Timid Tiger background gives just the right pop of warmth and coordinates beautifully with the sweet Lost Lagoon sentiment:
“So tiny…so small…so loved by all.”
The finishing touch? Sparkle! I added a trio of the new Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems—they catch the light and add just a bit of shimmer without overwhelming the soft colour palette.
🌟 Design Details:
Stamp Set: Retired Wildly Happy
Ink: Basic Gray and Lost Lagoon
Colouring: Smoky Slate Blends
DSP: 2025–2027 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper
Embellishments: Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems
Cardstock: Basic White, Lost Lagoon (layering strip)
💡 Tip: When using DSP as a card panel, cut your layering cardstock and DSP into strips and layer them behind the elephants. It saves paper and nobody will ever know!
✨ Whether you’re making cards to welcome a little one or simply revisiting favourite stamp sets, blending retired treasures with current supplies is a fun and budget-friendly way to craft.
Starting June 3, all available suites and suite products from the 2025–2026 Annual Catalog and Online Exclusives are buy one, get one 50% off! If you’ve had your eye on a new suite from the annual catalog or you really like the look of a stamp set from an Online Exclusives suite, you don’t have to choose—you can get both!
During today’s Live, I shared a sweet and summery card design featuring the Encircled With Love stamp set! I used the GDP501 Colour Challenge trio of Timid Tiger, Petal Pink, and Lost Lagoon to create two cheerful versions of the same layout.
My original sample featured the “Thank You” sentiment from the stamp set, but during the live I swapped it for the sunny “Way to Go!” Both sentiments work beautifully in this layered circle design.
✨ Key Details:
DSP: 2025–2027 In Color 6×6 DSP
Ribbon: Last Chance Petal Pink Scalloped Ribbon
Bling: Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink Gems
Colours: Timid Tiger, Petal Pink, Lost Lagoon
💡 Design tip: This layout is super adaptable – swap in any sentiment from the Encircled With Love set and you’ve got a card for any occasion!
Why I love this card: This design is simple, elegant, and versatile—perfect for beginners but also great for mass-producing! A quick sentiment swap gives you a whole new card. My original version used the “Thank You” image, and I switched it up live with “Way to Go!” for a completely different vibe.
💡 TIP: Save cardstock by die-cutting the circle layers from the centre of the same Lost Lagoon panel used to mat your DSP! No one will ever know, and you’ll get more out of each sheet.

Welcome back, friends! It’s time for another Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop, and this month we’re celebrating our favourite new products from the 2025–2026 Annual Catalogue. I chose to feature the Boho Vibes Suite, paired with the versatile Everyday Details Arches Dies, to create a vibrant, feel-good card.
🌟 Card Details:
Card base: Secret Sea cardstock
Rainbow: Cut using the Sunshine Vibes Dies in Berry Burst, Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling, and Strawberry Slush
Sentiment: Stamped in Secret Sea ink
Embellishments: Muted Pallette Dots from the suite
Layout: The rainbow is layered inside the stitched arch from the Everyday Details dies. The background DSP (also from the suite) brings a bold graphic flair that contrasts beautifully with the soft whites and vibrant rainbow.
I love how this colour palette and die combo brings instant joy and positivity—just perfect for sending good vibes!
💡 Design Tip: Apply Adhesive Sheets to your cardstock before die-cutting the rainbow pieces. This makes it so much easier to assemble the design—no liquid glue, no sticky fingers, and perfectly clean placement every time!

Welcome to this week’s Throwback Thursday, where I feature a fun mix of current Stampin’ Up! products with some retired favourites! This week’s card was created for my video game–loving son’s 17th birthday—and I couldn’t resist pulling out the retired Level Complete stamp set to make something truly personal.
✂️ Design Details:
Card Base: Secret Sea cardstock, 5 ½” X 6-3/4″, scored at 4-1/4″ .
DSP Layers: Florals in Bloom 12×12 DSP on the front panel, and a custom-stamped Cloud Cover panel inside featuring repeated gamer icons from the stamp set.
Focal Point: The video game controller from Level Complete, stamped in Secret Sea Ink on Basic White and coloured subtly with Stampin’ Blends. It’s layered on die cuts from the Stylish Shapes and Spotlight on Nature Dies, with the outer layer in Secret Sea. This layer was scored about 1/2″ in and glued between the Cloud Cover and Secret Sea layers to create a flap
Sentiment: “Happy Birthday” is heat embossed in white on Secret Sea, then die-cut with a Stylish Shapes stitched banner.
Embellishments: A few2025-2027 in Color Flat Pearls add a touch of shine without making the card too “blingy” for a teen boy.
The mix of old and new really makes this card shine—and those new 2025–2027 In Colors (Secret Sea and Cloud Cover) are so versatile!

This week’s Facebook Live featured the gorgeous Sunrise Sailing Bundle, an Online Exclusive from Stampin’ Up! I created a soft coastal card with a dreamy blended sunrise and stylish details.
The background sunrise was blended with Darling Duckling and Strawberry Slush on a Stylish Shapes die-cut circle, paired with a Pool Party frame and wave die cuts. The birds and sentiment were stamped and die cut in Secret Sea, tying together this breezy and elegant look. I also used the Sunrise Sailing 3D embossing folder for subtle background dimension.
💡 This bundle is perfect for summer birthdays, weddings, or retirement cards. And since it’s an Online Exclusive, you won’t find it in any catalogue!
I adore the serene feeling this scene creates. It was so fun to blend the sky and build this layered design using easy die cuts. This card is a gentle reminder of calm seas and warm wishes—plus it’s a great way to showcase your blending and layering skills!
