Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge # 420 – Sketch Challenge

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a vibrant Inspiration Challenge. I used gorgeous greens ( Parakeet Party and Granny Apple Green) along with the sentiment and flowers from the Sweet Citrus stamp set to create mine. Here is my card created using the Sweet Citrus stamp set and dies by Stampin’ Up!

I am a big fan of creating your own DSP backgrounds – then you get exactly what you had envisioned! In this case I wanted a fully green pallette of leaves to place flowers on top of. Here is a full list of materials used to create this card.

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a bright and fun Colour Challenge. I grab some Brights DSP and the wonderful Biggest wish stamp set to create mine. This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a summery Inspiration Challenge and I just had to keep using the Circle Sayings stamp set and the bundled 2-3/8″ circle punch. I LOVE that set so much! Our design team have created a great set of summer cards so, head over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments page to view them all and then join the challenge.

Daisy Garden Peek-a-boo window card

The hot weather is here and summer vacation is about to begin. I love this time of year since everything starts to feel a bit more relaxed. I can even usually find a few minutes in the morning to get into my garden before going to work. This is the first year ever I have actually grown daisies in my garden. I LOVE them!! A beautiful pop of white amongst what is mostly green at this time of year.

Today’s card was inspired by my garden and the two challenges below. Click the images if you want to see the full challenge.

Using a mix of colouring tools (Stampin’ Blends, water painter, blender pens) allows me to create exactly the look I want. Plus this card is simple enough that can make a bunch of them to quickly send out to customers and my stampin’ team. What other colour scheme can you imagine these flowers in?
