Ok – so here is a photo of the card, my video showing how to make this great card and a link to all the product used.
I hope some of the tips in the video helped ( how to use a builder punch and how to store extra pieces).
Today I was taking a break from prepping for the new year and the new January – June mini catalogue. This card was created for the TGIF Challenge #297.
I enjoyed playing with the Daisy lane stamp set and of course using my favourite sentiments from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.
There are many little details on this card that I think make all the difference. First of all, the ferns were added with White embossing powder and the bottom of the black cardstock was dry embossed with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder and then brushed lightly with Wink of Stella. At the top of the card I sponged white ink on the edges and then also brushed it with Wink of Stella. The Clear Epoxy Droplets add that rainy BC touch and the centers of the Daisy also received a Wink of Stella shimmer.
I loved the challenge of using only Black and White as a contrast to the VERY colourful stamping I have been doing recently.

I know it is the middle of winter – but I just can’t help myself – I am in LOVE with these ice cream cones and popsicles. They just make me HAPPY! These two cards were created using the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and punch bundle – which will be available on Jan 5th. Below I will list all the product used to create these cards ( except the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle and the twine – which is also new product from the Stampin Up! Jan – June Mini Catalogue).
To create this card was so simple. The popsicles are actually 2 stamps so it is easy to blend colours and the the stick is two stamps as well. To finish it off I fussy cut them out and attached to the card using dimensionals. The THANKS was also easy to create and apply. I simply put an adhesive sheet on the back of my Bermuda Bay cardstock before cutting it out, making the letters easy to apply stickers. Yay! Gotta love fun and easy projects.
This second card was created to use up the scraps I had from cutting out the THANKS used above. I heat embossed the extra sentiment on to the Bermuda Bay scrap, then applied it to the card base. Then I used the soon to be available Sweet Ice Cream punch to create a fun ice cream triple scoop (I heat embossed the sprinkles on to the top scoop). All the pieces were attached with Dimensionals – and done! No waste cardmaking. Another win!

Today I created a fun, simple card using the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set. This set is not even available yet ( unless you are a demonstrator). It is in the new catalogue – which goes live on January 5th. You can grab this early by signing up for your own Starter Kit, or on Jan 5th when you order this Suite using my host code (EDA36TNQ) you can get free access to my upcoming Sweet Ice Cream Weekend Stamp Camp.
You can see all the details of how I made this card in the video below.
Aside from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and punch, here are the supplies I used to create this sweet card.
In the video I also created a second card using a masking technique. I am running low on Whisper White Cardstock – so I created using Pool Party instead. If you have White cardstock these sweet cones would pop even more. 🙂
In addition to the product listed below, I used a sticky note, the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and Sweet Ice Cream Sprinkles.
Happy Monday!! The holidays are such a treat – extra time to stamp! I have been playing with some soon to be released stamps ( we have a new catalogue being released on January 5th!).
The set I have used today is called Sweet Ice Cream. It is part of a whole Ice Cream Corner suite including DSP (you can see a bit of it on this card), ribbon, sprinkles and an ice cream punch. You will LOVE it!
Below I have posted the available product that I used (the stamp set and DSP are only available to demonstrators for now – contact me on Jan 5th to order yours or before that if you want to grab a starter kit and add these items asap).
I was inspired to create again this week by this TGIF Challenge.
This card uses some retiring product and gives you a sneak peek of a brand new embellishment – the Black Matte Resin Dots. I see a lot of these being used in my stamping future!
Another great feature of this card is that it does not use any of my small stock of remaining Whisper White cardstock. Whisper White cardstock is still available – with a limit of 2 per person. Contact me to order yours or place an order using the host code: UH6R3FVD
School is out which means I have days off now!! I have mailed and delivered, shopped, wrapped and started to prep food. The only thing left to do is prepare our Thank you cards. Since we won’t be giving massive hugs to grandparents as we open gifts I am going to have the kids write good old fashioned Thank you cards, with a teen twist.
The inspiration/sketch for this card came from the Freshly Made Sketch – 466 (#FMS466) To see all the details of how I made this card you can watch the You Tube video posted below.
Here are the basic measurements:
Pretty Peacock CS – 4.25″ X 11″, score at 5.5″
Pool Party – 4″ X 5.25″
Whisper White – 3.75″ X 2.75″ and 4″ X 5.25″ for the inside
Silver Foil – 0.5″ X 2.5″ (two of these)
The teen twist comes with the sentiment in the card:
The holidays are approaching quickly. I am going to create just a few more cards featuring some of my favourite sets that are retiring soon ( while supplies last or until January 4th). The set I am using this week is Ornamental Envelopes Bundle.
I love this set because it is easy to use and it has so many small details that make cards fabulous – such as the lines for the envelopes.
I created this cards using a sketch from the TGIF challenge #TGIFC294. If you follow my blog you will know that my favourite way to create cards is by using sketches.
If you want all the details of how I made this card you can watch my You Tube video.
