Black and Whisper White colour challenge

Today I was taking a break from prepping for the new year and the new January – June mini catalogue. This card was created for the TGIF Challenge #297.

I enjoyed playing with the Daisy lane stamp set and of course using my favourite sentiments from the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

There are many little details on this card that I think make all the difference. First of all, the ferns were added with White embossing powder and the bottom of the black cardstock was dry embossed with the Dainty Diamonds embossing folder and then brushed lightly with Wink of Stella. At the top of the card I sponged white ink on the edges and then also brushed it with Wink of Stella. The Clear Epoxy Droplets add that rainy BC touch and the centers of the Daisy also received a Wink of Stella shimmer.

I loved the challenge of using only Black and White as a contrast to the VERY colourful stamping I have been doing recently.

Happy Stampin!

Leah
