Here is my card created using the Sweet Citrus stamp set and coordinating dies by Stampin’ Up!

I love how the dies go with the embossing folder to create awesomely textured stamped images. Here is a full list of materials used to create this card.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge # 409 – Sketch Challenge

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a unique Sketch Challenge. Our design team have created some beautiful cards using a variety of different ways to create the cool arch in the background. Head over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments page to view them all and then join the challenge.

Here is my card created using the new Online Exclusives – Irresistible Blooms bundle. I also used the Hello, Irresistible 6X6 DSP and 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds.

I created the arch on my card using the Stitched Rectangles and a circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies. I die cut the rectangle first, then fed it through the circle so it would only cut half. The flowers were stamped with Bermuda Bay and then coloured in with Bermuda Bay Ink on a blending brush. The leaves were the same process using Pool Party Ink. I substituted the floral element for the silver snowflake created with the Joyful Flurry bundle and used a masked layer rather than more cardstock to create the sentiment section. This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a cute Sketch Challenge. Take a look at all the fabulous cards created by our design team and then join the challenge.

I just had to design with some of my favourite retiring products – these are items you definitely want to have in your craft stash.

This background was embossed with the Tasteful Textiles 3D embossing folder, the tag was punched using the Everyday Label Punch, the image and sentiment are from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set. Friendly Hello DSP – 3-1/2″ X 3-7/8″

Fresh Freesia Open Weave ribbon and Loose Flower Flourishes to embellish.

The soft colours in this DSP feel very spring like to me – which is exactly the feel I need right now since it is still so cold outside.

This layout is great and so easy to use. Here is a totally different feeling card with the exact same layout.
