Birthday Card Organizer Kit

Every Wednesday at 9am (ish) Pacific Time I go live on FB and You Tube to share a project. This week I shared the Christmas Card Organizer Kit. This kit is sturdy, beautiful, useful and makes a GREAT Christmas Gift too. Check out my cards below and my video to see how I really personalized the organizer itself as well as the way I managed to get an extra 6 cards from the kit supplies.

The first card in the kit I altered a bit. The back of the card base was so beautiful I wanted to use it to create another card. So I trimmed the front and back down to 4″ X 5-1/4″ each and mounted them on Soft Succulent card bases. Aside from trimming the Sahara Sand strip to 5-1/4″ I created the card exactly as described in the kit instructions.

Then I used the back of the card base on a Soft Succulent card base and the Cottage Rose bundle to create another coordinating card.

The Cottage Rose bundle coordinates beautifully with the Birthday Card Organizer.

The other card in the kit has a more masculine feel to it and is such a breeze to put together. I did use Liquid Glue instead of the provided Tear and Tape just because I like a little wiggle room when putting papers together.

I also added a personal touch to the inside of the organizer. January was created using the Joyful Flurry stamp set and some Soft Succulent Ink.

All of the supplies I used to create today’s cards are listed below. Watch the video replay as well to get some great tips on how to decorate inside your organizer and make some extra cards with the kit supplies.

You can place an order by contacting me directly or clicking on the image(s) below.

After my video was done I added some details to a few more pages. Here are some ideas on how you can decorate your pages.

February – Flirty Flamingo hearts from Ringed With Nature and Petal Pink dots from Joyful Flurry.

May – Memento Black Ink to stamp bees and flowers from Honeybee Home, colour with Petal Pink and Soft Succulent.

November – Painted Poppies in Memento Black Ink, use Poppy parade and Soft Succulent Blends to colour.

December – Jingle, Jingle, Jingle in Memento Black Ink for the lights and Petal Pink for the stars. Colour the bulbs with Sweet Sorbet, Bermuda Bay and So Saffron. Stamp the tree from Peaceful Deer using Soft Succulent Ink.

If you are interested in booking a party with me so you have full use of my stamp sets to decorate your pages please contact me. I have a few days left in November and December.

Celebrate With Tags Birthday Card

Today’s card was created using the incredibly versatile and fun Celebrate With Tags bundle. It was inspired by the Freshly Made Sketch (#FMS556)

The dies in this bundle are definitely a highlight. They make crafting a breeze sine they coordinate with the stamps AND have added features – like these candles, the hearts dies and of course the tag dies themselves.

All of the supplies I used to create today’s card are listed below. Watch the video replay as well to get some great tips on how to adhere these candles and get them perfectly straight.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge # 399 – Colour Challenge

This week’s Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge is a bright Colour Challenge. Take a look at all the beautiful cards created by our design team and then join the challenge.

I had a lot of fun using these colours to create this birthday card.

I clearly LOVE sparkle – so the Starry Sky Glimmer Paper and the Starry Sky Metallic Ribbon were perfect for this card.

The stamped images and all of the die cuts are from the Celebrate With Tags bundle. I am creating with this set all week long for two reasons – it is such a FUN set and because it is the first stamp set I am featuring in my upcoming Birthday Card Club! You can find out all about my Birthday Card Club and register here: https://form.jotform.com/leahdixon41/birthday-card-club-2022-2023 . Biggest Wish

Today’s card was a bit of a journey. I started out trying to create just a quick Catalogue Inspiration card for the TGIF Challenge #TGIFC317

Instead, I ended up smudging some black ink on the DSP of this card. I have to add some extra stamping to the card to cover up my smudges. In the end, it’s not my favourite card – but better than a nice card with a smudge on the front.

Here you can see the card I had envisioned, and the card I ended up creating to save the DSP.

If you’d like to see the whole process, check out my video below. You can also always join me at 9am (ish) on Tuesday mornings to see the live videos and chat with me while I create.
