Every Wednesday at 9am (ish) Pacific Time I go live on FB and You Tube to share a project. This week I shared the Christmas Card Organizer Kit. This kit is sturdy, beautiful, useful and makes a GREAT Christmas Gift too. Check out my cards below and my video to see how I really personalized the organizer itself as well as the way I managed to get an extra 6 cards from the kit supplies.

The first card in the kit I altered a bit. The back of the card base was so beautiful I wanted to use it to create another card. So I trimmed the front and back down to 4″ X 5-1/4″ each and mounted them on Soft Succulent card bases. Aside from trimming the Sahara Sand strip to 5-1/4″ I created the card exactly as described in the kit instructions.

Then I used the back of the card base on a Soft Succulent card base and the Cottage Rose bundle to create another coordinating card.

The Cottage Rose bundle coordinates beautifully with the Birthday Card Organizer.

The other card in the kit has a more masculine feel to it and is such a breeze to put together. I did use Liquid Glue instead of the provided Tear and Tape just because I like a little wiggle room when putting papers together.

I also added a personal touch to the inside of the organizer. January was created using the Joyful Flurry stamp set and some Soft Succulent Ink.

All of the supplies I used to create today’s cards are listed below. Watch the video replay as well to get some great tips on how to decorate inside your organizer and make some extra cards with the kit supplies.
