Penguin Playmates Birthday Card

Today I created a fun birthday card using the new Penguin Place bundle and some FREE Penguin Playmates DSP. You can earn your own DSP by purchasing $60cdn during Sale-a-bration. See the full supplies list below, or shop here:

The card uses just a few pieces:

Fresh Freesia cardbase: 8.5″ X 5.5, scored at 8.25″

Penguin Playmates DSP: 2 pieces 1″ X 5.5″

Basic White cardstock: 2.25″ X 5.5″ and a scrap for the balloon if you want to pop it up

You can watch the video below for all the details – but here are the two tips I shared today.

Use blends to colour the Playing With Patterns Resin Dots so they coordinate with the Penguin Playmates DSP.
The small balloon in the retired Balloon Punch coordinates with the balloon in the Penguin Place stamp set.

I am also really happy with how the bow turned out. I rarely have such great success tying a bow on screen! You have to check it out.
